Take your shoes off and enjoy a social round of barefoot bowls in Brisbane’s North. Our bowling greens are built with state of the art engineering, with comfort in mind. Offering an all weather cover with brilliant lighting (shadowless on the green). Our greens are covered with an exquisite bowlsweave carpet surface. This makes barefoot bowling easier, and more stress free.
Barefoot bowling events can be held most days, and we even have an amazing high-fidelity sound system and electronic scoreboard (with remote control scoring). This makes Enoggera Bowls Club the premier barefoot bowling club in Brisbane.
We welcome walk-in groups, but it is best to book a rink. This is especially true on the weekends or busier periods, such as the lead-up to Christmas.
It is best to book in advance if you are organizing a larger barefoot bowls party or corporate lawn bowls function. It is essential to get in early to secure your rinks for work break-up parties and weekend birthdays.
Barefoot bowlers do not need to become members. However, if you want to make bowling a regular part of your life- apply to become a bowls member!
You can be guaranteed your party will go ahead whenever you book. That is because, with our weather-protected bowling facility, the rain and wind won’t stop you. If it is a scorcher or heavy rain, you and your friends can play barefoot bowls and enjoy your whole celebration comfortably.
Remember that we can accommodate (by arrangement) functions outside our normal advertised opening hours.
Barefoot bowls, catering, and beverage services are available 7 days a week. Bowls and a brief introduction to lawn bowls and the rules are provided. Our qualified bowls coordinator and volunteer members are on hand to guide you on fun ways to play bowls. They will also explain all the important house rules to help to ensure safety and enjoyment for all.
You can be sure that lawn bowls can be easy to learn and play. Many barefoot bowlers become quite proficient very quickly. Our bowls coordinators are on hand to give you extra advice to help you improve. Don’t hesitate to ask if you want to make your next shot ‘count.’
Enoggera Bowls Club and its Cafe 63 venue can accommodate bowls functions and celebrations. Whether it be a birthday, engagement, baby shower, or mates getting together, we have great facilities to enjoy. We can even cater to your upcoming work team building and development program.

For a great day on the greens playing barefoot bowls, please note the following information. Some tips, rules & regulations to follow during your trip to the Enoggera Bowls Club.
We are a family friendly club. The kids are welcome, and we encourage them to participate.
BUT safety is important to us, therefore our Coordinator will guide parents on the rules for children on the greens. Parents and carers will be responsible for their children’s safety.
We offer special prices for U18s as well as younger ones. Let us know and we will give you the good news.
Casual dress is ideal as barefoot bowls is casual & fun sporting activity. At a minimum, shorts, singlets, sandals, thongs and sneakers.
If you are arriving in fancy dress and costumes, we expect that all guests are appropriately attired at all times. We ask that you respect those others with whom you will be sharing the facility.
On the greens you need to wear flat sole shoes or sandals, thongs, socks or bare feet. This can be your choice.
No heels or grippy sole shoes on the greens at any time. These types of footwear can cause damage to the playing surface.
Rain, hail or too much shine. Your party goes on without a hitch. No need to stress about the weather as the venue is well protected along with state of the art lighting and sound. This includes the bowling greens. Once you have booked in you never need to worry about the weather on the day of your event. We create our own weather at Enoggera Bowls Club.
There are no BYO drinks allowed at any time onto the premises. The club is a fully licenced venue. No drinks on the bowling green please. If any guest becomes intoxicated the management will be required to handle individuals in line with state government regulations.
Is not permitted within the venue.
Cafe 63 is available for catering and drinks on site. Please contact Cafe 63 for their menu and bookings.
If your party has special or medical requirements, then discuss these with our Club BFB co-ordinator.
Well behaved pets are allowed in the ‘alfresco’ dining area of the club, on a lead only. We do not allow pets inside or on the bowling greens.
Disabled parking spaces are available at the front of the precinct at the car park section at Pickering Place.
Take the smooth footpath and cross the road to Cafe 63, where you take a gentle ramp down to the Greens deck.
At the Green’s deck, moveable ramps can take people in wheelchairs down onto the green.
These short ramps are more than 1:10; therefore, you will need supervision and assistance using a manual wheelchair. Our coordinator or volunteer member will be able to support people in a wheelchair to access our greens to play lawn bowls.
