Enoggera Bowls Club welcomes all competitive lawn bowlers—we field teams in summer competitions (Saturdays) and mid-week social games on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Currently, we have three son/ dad players, four husband and wife teams, and on special occasions, brothers who play competition bowls together. “Families who play together stay together,” so competing must have better advantages!
Our two undercover greens mean bowls go ahead- despite the weather.

Enoggera Bowls Club will field teams at levels to suit our players in:
Our selection committee will help schedule players for the games for each competition.
Competition bowls is like any other game- it’s all about learning something new, improving your skills, and meeting different people in your community. Playing against others’ can make you try harder and achieve more!
Bowls is a non-contact sport that nurtures one’s competitive urges.
Some players make money from playing bowls. If this sounds appealing- speak to our “bowls brains trust”. Dobbo, Pounc, and Nev are usually on the deck side at Green 2 and will happily share their experiences and thoughts.
Wednesday (Jackpot Pairs) 12:30 PM start.
Saturday Social – 12.30 PM start.
Barefoot Bowls throughout the week.
Veterans Men over 70’s every Monday (this is a traveling event).

Members receive a weekly email newsletter where events from other clubs are posted each week. Many members enjoy visiting events at other Clubs- the greens are different, and they meet and play with other bowlers.
The 2025 Game Plan is to restructure the Club’s finances to allow us to focus on developing bowls in our community.
We know bowls can create a sense of life satisfaction and a sense of well-being. Enoggera Bowls has the resources to support more people in recreational bowls and create more happiness in our community.
We can share the fun, skills development, gentle social aspects, and the competition side of bowls with more of our community:
Discuss your solo or social recreational needs with Ray at 0477443255 or the club secretary: enoggerabowlscommunications@gmail.com
