Established in 1939. World War II was coming; however, 30 keen sportsmen were keen to keep playing the sport we love. A gathering at the Enoggera Memorial School of Arts was convened and the Enoggera Bowls Club was formed. The rest is history.
Now we welcome new generations of bowlers and support our vibrant local community. That legacy lives on, as Pickering Place which in 2019 became the new home of Enoggera Bowls Club. With the changing landscape of lawn bowls, Enoggera Bowls Club throws the doors open to welcome social and barefoot bowlers. Come down and experience the club with a game with friends.
Become a member, pop in for a few ends of barefoot bowls, catch up with friends and family, host your function – the friendly atmosphere will make you feel at home.
Our teams play at the highest level of lawn bowls during summer and winter competitions. With teams entered in at all levels of competition there is a spot to suit your skills.

Our club member, Stan Dunbar is often quietly gathering up the refundable bottles at the Club. The initiative by Stan enables us to assist raising funds for CPL by the recycling of bottles and cans collected. Patricia Gold of CPL recently acknowledged and thanked the club for continuing to support their charity organisation.
CPL – Choice, Passion, Life (formerly the Cerebral Palsy League of QLD) is a leading provider of integrated support, therapy & advice for people living with a disability in Queensland and Northern NSW.
